Defendec appoints a former national Managing Director of the Thales group to its Advisory Board

Defendec is pleased to announce the addition of Olaf Valeur to the company’s Board of Advisors. Valeur will help Defendec develop its international business network in the field of security and military sectors worldwide.

An international exhibition “ EUROSATORY 2010” taking place in Paris on June 14-18, 2010 brings together top defence industries from all over the world and DEFENDEC - an innovative company from Estonia has a display at the exhibition to introduce an innovative wireless sensor network technology and a system of monitoring parameters, which considerably lowers the operating costs and helps to safeguard and save human lives.

Smartdust Solutions changed its name. Smartdust Solutions changed its name to Defendec on the 26^th of April representing its focus on serving mainly the military and security sectors. 

Our company will be presented at Frontex Day in Warsaw on the 24^th of May. We will introduce our innovative monitoring system and its benefits to European Border Guards.

Enterprise Estonia decided to award us with a grant. The grant is for two years research project - research and development of new ultra low power networking algorithms with intelligent application message platform.

Contract with Estonian Border Guard was signed on the 3rd of July 2009
